How can I force a line break in a single cell?

I've combined values from columns A and B using the formula below

=A1&" "&B1

value displays in column C like

dataA dataB

What I would like to do is insert a formula between the &'s that would force a line break so value of cell would display like

dataA
dataB

Note: word wrap is not an option, as the length of data in column A can
vary in length

Any quick and clever fixes available?
