I lost my horizontal scroll bar?

First check Tools-Options-View Tab. You should see a windows option to hide/unhide the horizontal scroll bar.

If that's already checked, I suppose you may have collapsed the scroll bar by dragging the left edge all the way to the right.

Double click the left-most tab split box which has probably been dragged to the far right where your horizontal scroll bar normally is. You'll know that your cursor is postioned over the tab split box because your cursor will appear like...<-||->
