I lost my horizontal scroll bar?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hey KFlex

First check Tools-Options-View Tab. You should see a windows option to hide/unhide the horizontal scroll bar.

If that's already checked, I suppose you may have collapsed the scroll bar by dragging the left edge all the way to the right.

Hope that helps,
Adam

Double click the left-most tab split box which has probably been dragged to the far right where your horizontal scroll bar normally is. You'll know that your cursor is postioned over the tab split box because your cursor will appear like...<-||->
