Rather hard to describe well what I need... I'm creating a table with column widths of 10 or so. I need to label each column head with several words (about 20 character max) which will not fit on the narrow width columns. I need to know how to create angled lines at the head of each column on which text can be typed at the same angle, on or above the angled lines. Then the text I need will fit in the width I want, and look neat as well. Simple question I think, I'm just not as well-versed in Excel as I would like! Thanks!!

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Select your headers, choose the Format | Cells... menu command (or Control+1), click on the Alignment tab, drag the orientation dial to the desired position or enter the desired degree (e.g., 45) value. Click on the Borders tab and apply them if desired.

For the lines, you can either choose to "Underline" the text (<u>U</u>) (not cell underline border, although a complete cell border seems to angle...) or draw in your very own lines. See Insert->Picture->AutoShapes. Click on the left-most icon and you're ready for custom lines.
