I have a workbook and worksheet that are protected and when I right click on a cell that doesn't have a before_right_click macro attached to it unprotects the worksheet. Am I missing something or is this the way 2002 works? I checked to make sure that the cell was locked and protected before I right clicked and when I did right click the dropdown list came down and gave me full editing capability and when I left clicked it after that I had full view of a once hidden cell.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Sorry about that last statement. I have created my own problem by exiting the sub without reprotecting it if it didn't fall within my target range. Hopefully I won't waste any more of your time without investigating things a little more thoroughly.
