Been working on an old workbook today and tried to save it - but each time I get a message "File not saved". I tried saving it under a new name - same thisng - file not saved.

I've never had this problem before and the workbook is not read-only.

Any ideas?

Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

When this occurs:

1. Try saving the file to a different name.
2. Try saving the file to a different location.
3. Copy the sheets to a new book and save.

Thanks guys.

I ended up using option 3 of Dreamboats suggestions -all works OK now.

Dreamboat, OT slightly, I've been trying to get into thewordexpert.com for a couple of weeks, without success - is the site down?
