Thanks, the sumproduct formula worked. Can I carry it to multiple columns? If I have 5 columns of color and 5 columns of price?

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Hey again,

I was able to get it to work with more than 1 column- so it looks like more columns will be ok:

=SUMPRODUCT((A1:E100="red")*(F1:J16<50000))

Assuming Columns A,B,C,D,E colors match with columns F,G,H,I, and J respectively.
