I want to open a file automatically but this file is bigger then Microsoft Excel allows.
How I can seperate it into two sheets automatically?
Thanks

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
I'm interested in the part about:

"bigger then Microsoft Excel allows"

I believe the size of a workbook is limited only by the available memory on a given PC. Perhaps your available memory is hurting. Try cleaning up your PC:

If that doesn't help, try getting the file to a machine that has more RAM.

Hope this helps!

Depending on what you are trying to do for example a Pivot Table for data analysis. You can imported to MS Access and then link to it from Excel.

Jack: I have never removed your posts. I do not have that capability. Also, perhaps the asker does not have enough space on his hard drive to create the temporary file necessary to open his document. Cleaning up his hard drive may resolve the problem.

hello there

I think the first poster means that the file
he wants to import is more than 65535 rows
and excel can't handdle them.
I suggest to break that file with an editor
in two or three and then import in excel
:)
