keeping 0s after decimal

I am trying to export a comma delimited xls file with numbers containing decimals in each cel. Excel seems to drop the zeros after decimals though. This is a problem because these are part numbers. Please help.

Hi,

Are you importing or exporting the file?

If you are importing the file, try to import the column(s) in question as text--the wizard will allow you to indicate how you want each column to be imported.

If you are exporting, make sure that these columns are text and the export should maintain the zero values.

I am exporting the file through a script as filename.xls . ex:
cel1, cel2, 1000.00, cel4


The ".00" in "cel3" are lost when viewing file.
