I need help, badly. I have three categories, in each category you can select a type and lenght, which gives you a certain value. Is it possible for me to have three comboboxes, in the first one You select the category, in the second one you select the lenght and in the third one you select the type. and the result would be that certain value.

Is it possible to do this without using Visual basics? If not, then how?

I hope to hear from you!

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

To make sure I understand this, if I chose Category 1, length 64, and type C, should I get 459? Also, is the data in the spreadsheet layed out exactly like your example.

Thanks for your respond Steve!

yes, that is correct. if you chosse category 1 (in the first combobox) then you should be able to select the lengths " 64 81 97 113" from the second combobox, but if you had selected category 2 the you should be able to select lengths "64 81 and 97" (not 113") from the second combobox

The tables are layed out similar to my example, can i send them to you?
