Can Excel be used to query a website's API and pull back results in a spreadsheet? I've been searching around, and am trying to come up with a way to have Excel query SEMRush's API.

For example purposes, we'll say that the API URL would be:

http://us.api.semrush.com/?action=report&type=phrase_related&key=XXXXXXXX&export=api&export_columns=Ph&phrase=search+engine+optimization

Obviously, I can't give out my API key, but was hoping someone could give me some skeleton code to work from.

Thanks!

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
There are plenty of threads on here that cover this sort of thing, either automating IE as in the video or using XMLHTTTP.

It's really quite a common question.:)
