UK date format

Hi.

I want to format a date as d/m. I can only find the american m/d which just won't makes sense here!

This is not on the date or custom menu. And yes, my settings are set to English UK on the control panel.

I have no idea how to create custom formats which I suspect might be required.

Hi
Try this.
Controlpanel / regional settings / Date.
Choose short date format and change this to dd-MM-yyyy. (press enter)
this will change your setting perfect.
I have just been forced to do this becaurse my company went to yyyy-MM-dd

Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off

YYYYMMDD is more logical as it allows proper sorting

any other combination ends up with spaghetti
