I have a spread sheet that takes entries in columns headed A and B and does addition and subtraction with the data entered. I have 50 or more rows in some of the spread sheets and for some reason, the formulas only work down to row 39. Data entered in rows 40 and above has no effect. All cells above row 40 (1-39) are identical in their format. It's making me crazy. HELLLLPPPP.
    Thanks

I using the formula =SUMIF('A':'B',PRODUCT,'Q1':'Q2') where A and B are the product ID"s (1 is modems, 2 is monitors, etc..) and Q1 and Q2 are the quanities sold for each product. I put the product ID in A and the number sold in Q1 and it sums them to the product catagory.

the =SUMIF syntax is as follows :

    =SUMIF(range to interrogate,criterion,range to sum)

are you sure you're following that exactly ?

post your EXACT formula, not a shortcut...
