Hi, this may sound simple but when I try to cut, not copy, My CPU, (1.5 gig processor) Takes 10 - 20 secs to complete the command! This occurs even when it is only one cell at a time. I have tried restarting, clearing the clipboard and other stuff but my computer still lags when I try to paste after a cut command for anything. Please help and thanx.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
a wonderful time saving measure is to make sure you have turned off the screen updating...

at the beginning of your code put
application.screenupdating = false
