I'm wondering why my recent monthly ss are so ery slow, up to 30 seconds, in opening and saving as compared to my Dec and Jan ones, about 3 seconds. They are are both 4 pages, no macros, only sum, %, *, averages. Only differenc I can think of is that the very slow ones have some colored cells.
Any ideas what is wrong?

Thanks
Kwong

Hi

the first thing i would do is ***** the wight of the SS file size and amount or formatting, formulas that are used.

some thing to look aout for

Flash things, arrays these are killers

if you have long cols of formula say vlookup this can all slow the time of the sheet
