I am trying to autofilter dates with "/". I can't seem to find a way to filter a column with both dates and numbers to clear one set out. Any suggestions? I tried "contains /" and "does not contains /" - symbols baffle me.

Thanks.

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Dates in Excel are serial numbers. So, when you are looking for "/," you are looking for something that doesn't really exist. To see the actual value of the date, format the cell to General and you will see exactly what I am talking about.
