Headers and footers in Excel

Can you create different first page headers and footers in Excel 97?

Not by using the header/footer on ONE sheet. You can create different headers/footers for each sheet, or the same for all sheets (by grouping).

Anything else would require code.

you can however put a different header and/or footer on a separate worksheet and use that as your first page. you'll need to select both sheets to get them to print though.
