I need help! I know how to autofill with just numbers (ie: 0100001, 0100002, 0100003). But I cannot figure out how to autofill (if you can even do it) with both numbers and letters (ie: FS0400001, FS0400002, etc). I actually need 2 of each "number" (FS04000001, FS0400001, FS0400002, FS0400002, etc). I'm looking for something simple - drag & fill, cut/paste....no fancy formulas please  . Edited to add that I need it in a column not rows. TIA!!

Thank you for any help you can give me.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Well, I tried it in Columns.

Typed in FSO4000001
then dragged the box thingie ( technical term :) ) down to FSO4000022 down the column, works perfectly.

Okay, my mistake... so you need two sets of numbers... silly me...

Okay, I just tested with Two number values along side of each, works, sort of , but the first number stays the same, and the second number increments... I guess you could always concatenate ??

PS. After you have dragged downwards, you could copy >pastespecial>values to change to values...
