But what about the background color --- or will that not work ---
Thanks Murrey

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Hi again Murrey,

If you want to use cell color fill, simply use Conditional Formatting (Alt-OD) and set the Condition 1 to "Cell Value Is", next dropdown to "equal to", and third dropdown to "Time to Call" (or whatever the tickler string is that is yielded by the formula), and finally click the Format button, select the Patterns tab and select the fill color you desire. You can also pick a font color, size, etc.
