Hello. I'm using Excel Solver and have 2 tables. Table one is prices where my variables cells need to be greater. Table 2 is prices where I want my variable cells to be lower. How should I set this up? I want to maximize my markup between these two ranges.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Hi,
I don't think "having two tables" is enough information to give direction on how to setup a solver solution. You'll have to be more specific. I don't use solver frequently, but typically you have one cell that you want to maximize or minimize (or set equal to), and other cells that act as constraints.
