Hi

I have made my data validation based on a Named Range (thankyou Mr Excel and Youtube)

I am now trying to drag it down to populate a range of cells A2:A285

The problem I am having is that it is keeping everything in Cell A2 as I drag down and is not referring to my Named Range. I have looked in Name Manager to see if I need to add anything to my formula but cant seem to find anything that needs amendment as it works in A2 just not in A3+

any ideas?

cheers

RM

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Cell A2 refers to the following named Range (which is a list of all of my names

=OFFSET($F$2,,,COUNTIF($F$2:$F$282,"?*"))
