Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Do you mean a template that will calculate these things separately ?
Or some sort of template that will do this all together ?

Sorry, not clear to me...

You might search here for specific terms (unit of measure) that you're interested in. Are you aware of the Convert() function in the Analysis Tookpak Add-In? It has quite a bit.

Hello,

What do you mean?

You have dimensions of existing parts and you wish to calculate teh mass etc.

i.e a cube of 10mmx10mmx10mm will have an area of 600 square mm etc?

This site has, I think, all the conversion items you want, however, it does not seem to be principally Excel:

http://www.nonags.com/nonags/convert.html

Also:

http://www.bookcase.com/library/software/win9x.desktop.calc.html
[ Some of the items with this site work with spreadsheets ]

And another converter site:
http://www.2000shareware.com/education-mathematics.html

If you search on something like altavista.com with "excel spreadsheets to calculate certain values for Mass, Volume, Weight, and Area" you will get about 300 or so additional hits with specific spreadsheet info on conversions...

However, I guess its a case of what you want to get the job done.

Sorry I wasnt very clear.

Ok I have hundreds of conversion applications but I want a spreadsheet to do the conversions instead of an application.

This website has the tools im thinking of putting on an excel spreadsheet http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/tools.php but didnt want to start it incase someone else had already done it.

Hope this makes sense, so any advice???

Thanks in advance

If I recall correctly, someone here may have some tools that will work, if not, search in the area you mentioned, fisheries, and you will almost certainly get some documents doing what you want.

If you do find it that way, would be cool if you could come back here, and advise us of the locations.
