Hello, so I had to manually insert hundreds and hundreds of hyperlinks that link to PDF files on a network server. When I finally finished linking all on my list and going back through, I discovered that when I clicked on many of the hyperlinks, it popped up a message saying "Cannot open the specified file." When I looked at the file path, many of them changed to C:\Users\[my login name]\AppData\[and then the rest of the file path was correct]?? How do I get it to change all of my hyperlinks to the same hyperlink base address (I have tried that in File-Properties-Summary tab but doesn't work??) I have also tried some module samples I found on the internet but nothing I try will work?? Please help.......

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
I think I'm having the same kind of issue - changing hyperlink base doesn't work
I've two folders with files in them
z:\\01 Quality Assurance\QA docs\ - contains my documents
z:\\01 Quality Assurance\QA records - the spreadsheet with a list of docs I want to hyperlink to
I followed the directions for Excel 2010 to change the hyperlink base: file, properties, advanced properties, summary and in the "hyperlink base" box entered z:\\01 Quality Assurance\QA Docs\
When I do Insert & click Hyperlink, the dialog box opens to QA Records not QA Docs. Why?
