Is there any way to create a message or dialogue box that pops up and displays some of the values that are contained in cells on a worksheet?

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
How about the following:

MsgBox "The value of cell " & [a1].Address(rowabsolute:=False, columnabsolute:=False) _
& " is " & [a1].Value
