I know 0.0 about VB scripting, and only slightly more about macros, so, as my boss would like me to have excel perform a task it cannot do without macros, I need your help... Down to Brass tax: this is for a very basic inventory/invoiceing setup
I need to print out a few things, the company name, the subtotal, the tax, the total, and the items selected in the sum box... usually just 2 things. if you can help, DEAR GOD lest I loose my job, please do... respond here or via email. I can send you the file if it is via email.
thank you heavily

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
oh, yeah, I would also like to save the printed info to a file or print the info to a file to be renamed later or prompted to be renamed during. maybe that would be easier? exporting the desired fields to a file then printing that file? yeah? yeah??
sorry to be a pest... I am just lacking in this knowledge

It sounds like you are looking for someone to develop the macro for you. You might want to look into hiring someone for that. Not that it would be a hard macro to develop but time is $$.

right now, it is more of a develop for me thing, but if I see enough (5 or 6) well written macros, I can hack out my own, so it is really more of an education thing in the long run, but you are right and I knew it would be easy...

*Nobody* needs to know that but you. Please don't divulge that information.

Please send the file to me, with a detailed explanation of your request. I will look at it for free, even! :)
