Divide multiple cells by 1000

I have hundreds of rows that I need to divide the number in the cell by 1,000. Is there an easier way to do it rather than going through each number and doing it manually?

The numbers in each cell are not formulas there are just regular numbers.

Type 1000 into an empty cell.

Copy it

Now, select the cells you want to change, go to Edit | Paste Special, select "Values" and "Divide", and press OK. There you go !!
