Hi,

Everyone, this is my 1st post and most likely a stupid and very easy to answer question. I have let say column A and I have the date and name John 1913 all the way down to John 1940.

But what I need is a way to turn it around so A1 starts with John 1940 down to 1913.? If I drag down it counts up but I want it to count down if that makes sense.?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Jimmy

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
If you are creating the data then you can type the first two data points, such as John 1940 and then John 1939 below it. Then select both and drag down.

Me again, last time today honest.

That's great I now have them laid out in A and I have a list of web address's in B. What I want to do is click an name in A1 a E.g. John 1940 and it take me to the webaddress in B1. I can copy and paste in to each one but it's taking a while just wondered if there was a quicker way.?

Thanks for your time.

Cheers

Thanks Chataylo,

Sorted it thanks, but I couldn't have sorted the rest out without you answering my first question. I have watched quite a few excel movies but seem to have missed the trick you showed me.

Thanks again
