Cell Format changing problem

I am Using Windows XP OS 32 Bit and MS Excel 2007.

Need help to fix this problem it should be any settings or <acronym title="visual basic for applications">VBA</acronym> codings.

  1. Please see this screenshot image, in this image the marked QTY contains only numerical value(NUMBER-GENERAL) but it showing in date format.
  2. Another cells marked contains AUG-13.... its also contains only numerical value but it showing in date format which is marked.
  3. Please help to fix this issue

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Any shorter way to show a picture? My browser cannot read it !
