Hi Excel Geni
I am trying to calculate the Annual Estimate by multiplying the Grade 'percentage equivalent' by the Annual Amount using the equivalent Grade amount quoted in a small table within the spreadsheet. Any ideas please? Thank you!

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
So, let's say the word "Grade" is in B1, then the grades would be in B2 through B9, and the percentages would be in C2 through C9..
in the table below, the 8 under "Grade" would fall in B12, and the $60,000 under "Annual Amount" would be in E12.. then your formula would be:

=E12*VLOOKUP(B12,B2:C9,2)
