hi,
I'd like to know if it is possible to show only some part of a gridline in an excel chart. For example if I have a chart with X and Y gridlines and I want to have my line at X=0.2 starting at Y=0.3 whereas the other lines start at Y=0??? Please help....

Disable gridlines in Tools > Options

and then use cell border formatting instead to create your lines.

On a chart, double click on the axis you want to change which brings up the "format axis" dialogue box.

One of the options there is the value where you want the axis to cross. In your case you will do this for both axes, changing the default zero to the values you've chosen.
