i have 3 rows of data. let's call them 2002, 2001, 2000.

i want to create a chart with 2002 as columns and 2001 and 2002 as just data lines or data points.

in CUSTOM TYPES of the Chart Wizard, there is an option called 'Line - Column'. the problem with this one is that i get 2 columns and 1 line; i need 1 column and 2 lines. how do i do that? please help!

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Right-click on your chart's 2nd series (the one for 2001), choose Chart Type... from the popup menu, and double-click the Line chart type.
