I am having somewhat of a small problem in Excel. I have over 6000 rows of data in non-decimal format, for example (45). What I want to do is convert these cells to a decimal version in hundredths (.45) and a percentage version (45.00%). The problem comes in when i try to format the cells, there seems to be no conversion for hundredths only conversion for thousandths, so the conversion looks like this (.045). When I go into Format>Cells>Number>Custom and try the conversion that way i still get the same output. Any advice? Thanks.

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Convert your values by dividing by 100... Just enter 100 into a cell, Copy it and then use Edit | Paste Special Values with the Divide operation.

Formatting never changes the internal representation of a value -- it only changes how a value is displayed!
