I have this text in cell a1:

DLC Gross Profit % DLC Sls

What formula can I use to isolate the "%" in cell a2?

Thanks,
Jonbob

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
if you know you are looking for the % you could use this formula:
=MID(A1,FIND("%",A1,1),1)
otherwise you'd have to try somethingelse, but more information would be needed to figure that out.

This may round it out for you... is there anyway to conditionally format cells off of that so if a "%" is present, it will format a number in a percentage format?
