I have a sheet that uses drop down lists.
When the text alignment is -90 degrees (vertical), the column width reduced and the row height increased ---- the drop down list associated with it ALSO has it's width reduced which obscures the full text.
Is there a way of having narrow columns and wider drop down lists or do I need to do this via a Macro (if so does anybody have an example).
Appreciate any help here.

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
