How can i lock a cell without the complication of adding user permissions as this wont be avaliable when i take my assignment into college?

Another suggestion for this kind of coding is this:
Don't code totally from scratch!
Start by recording a new macro that does exactly what you want ( in this case un-protect a sheet ... then protect it again.)

Once you've recorded the macro go in and edit the macro by inserting you extra piece of code in the middle.

I find that starting problems this way is great in learning new command and codes.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Hi again,
I don't why this happens or what i'm doing wrong but this always happens to me . The "_" is an UNDERSCORE
it is used to contine the line of code to the next line,your code should look like:

Sheets("100m").Unprotect password:="Carol"

Sorry for the confusion of the "UnderScore"
I edited my last post to correct this
