Love this site - thank you! thank you! It has really been a big help.

Is it possible, with Excel 97, to create a personalized sheet with columns for stock name, symbol, etc., with one column setup to reflect current stock price from a web query, and that will refresh as needed, for a personal portfolio?

Currently Data command>Get External Data>Run Web Query> and then Multiple Stock Quotes by PC Quote, puts a whole object of multiple stock listings (if I input the symbols separated by spaces) - but it's not really personalized, and it takes over the sheet. It doesn't incorporate any of the data in my columns, as I have it set up?

Is this something for a possible add-on utility, another software package, or can an Excel version 97, or later, do such a thing.

Many thanks!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
