Thanks to both of you for the code on running a dos programme while vb waits for it!!! Colo yours works fine !!!!!
Ivan i have not tried yours yet first one worked , got more work and time ran out so just sent it through with colos code (everyone uses win9x anyway)but will try yours over the weekend.THanks to all the outhers you helped to many to mention LOL
