Hi all,

I'm trying to use the offset command to make the source of a chart change when data is entered. Data is filled in each month so for now I want the graph to show Jan - May, but when June's data is typed into the related table I want the chart to extend it's range to show Jan - June. Make sense?

Anyway I'm getting nowhere. I have the offset formula in a cell at the moment (I've not put it into the graph source) but it just comes up with 0 no matter what I type in the range. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

=OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$29,COUNTA(Sheet1!$A:$A),COUNTA(Sheet1!$33:$33))

Thanks for any help,

Greg

Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)

What you're after is a "dynamic chart". Have a look at my contribs in the thread:

to see whether that would help.
