I have a macro that opens a file and cusotm sorts according a custom sort list. This brings all my wanted data to the top of the sheet. I would like to delete all the rows with data that is not part of the sort list. Is it possible?

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
I think that what you need is to filter/advanced filter the set of data. This way you can select what data you need left for further processing. By sorting a set of data, all records remain in your list but rearranged.
