is there a tool for VBA which would auto close the brackets and auto complete common statement like end if, end select, end with etc...

Only the keyboard, as far as I know. (I know that's not really auto complete although sometimes I swear mine types things I didn't)

You can use something like smart indenter to at least show you quickly that you've forgotten to close a block.

i was afraid it started and ended with the keyboard. I will look into smart indenter thank you
