Column A of my workbook has a series of serial numbers. I would like to be able to either highlight the cell of bold the text when a serial numbers has been entered more than once within column A.

Thanks,
Noir

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).

Suppose your values are in cells A2:A11, then use Conditional|Formatting -- put the following formula for cell A2

=COUNTIF($A$2:$A$11,"="&$A2)>1

Hope This Helps!

Noir,

Try this conditional formatting

=countif(A:A,a1)>1

Hi Brian:

Your formula is short and sweet! and is better than mine.
