Hi guys

I have created an XLAM add in with an associated ribbon (using the UI editor). The ribbon buttons are really simply. They basically just hyperlink to guideline documents on our work server so that employees can get to the documents quickly and look at the guidelines around how to use common spreadsheets. I would like to set the add-in code to "Project is unviewable" so that employees cannot mess around with the code.

We use excel 2010.

Many thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

Hi mate

Was wanting the protection so that the "Project is unviewable" user form pops up instead of having password protection. Tried to attach the image below for your reference.

Do you know how to do this form of protection?

Cheers

Hey mate

Yeh I have tried that also with no luck. Step 13 is slightly different on my computer. It does not prompt you to save straight away. But I have followed each step in what I think is an accurate way but it still doesn't work. I will try it again. Thanks very much.

Cheers
