I get the following error message when I start Excel:
" The feature you are trying to use is on a CD ROM or other removable disk and is not available for use".
I have checked for virus and re-installed the Excel program.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.,
Ed

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Question? What platform are you using? And what installation options are you using?

With Win 2000 and Win XP one opf the options when installing new programs is to be able to "Run" the program from disc.

Also the Setup program for Office might have that option also. Make sure you are doing a Full Install, or even do a Custom Install and check everything that you want installed.
