append in dbf files

hi!

i have a table in format DBF and a sheet in excel with a form in it.

the name of the dbf is history (fields: DATA and VALUE)

please, can someone tell me how I can update this dbf file with the data from text1 and text 2 from my form form1?

and another question: how can i find from vba a value in the field DATA?
