I successfully have used the following code to set the back color (44 Orange) of command buttons

Code:
Sheets("Main").CommandButton1.BackColor = RGB(255, 204, 0)

At least until today, it now fails on my computer and on the user computer!

The command button exists BUT displays the run-time error 438 message:

"Object doesn't not support this property or method"

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Fascinating, it solved it

BUT

The files had a 2012 date associated with them....
As in "why did it start just today"???

There's a conflict between the information in those .exd files and the files that Tuesday's Office patches updated.
