Data Connections and Command Text Security

Hi Boardies,

Two questions really:

Q1. Is it possible to prohibit a change to the Command Text of a connection? -- Nevermind, I should just protect the workbook.

Q2. I have the same table in multiple workbooks, the only way I can think of appending all the records together is to pull all of these Tables into multiple sheets of the same workbook and then concatenate the Tables in these sheets to a new sheet.

Excluding Power Pivot, is this the only way to do this or can you reference multiple workbooks in MS Query etc..??

While I have Power Pivot installed I have come to the realisation that I can't make too many "advanced" changes to our working practices because if and when I leave my job there will be no one left with the skillset to update and maintain them.
