How change formatting if a cell is overwritten/change? Or like a forced "track changes"

Hello all-
I have an Excel file I share with lots of people, and I have many formula and numbers scattered through (it basically is a sheet to place orders for goods)

What I am wondering is if there is a way when a salesperson goes in and changes a cell, that the cell changes color (or changes formatting somehow to flag the cell to others).

I am wondering how to do this without:
- using macros
- protecting the file

And needing to do this for a fairly large number of cells, which also have formulas change on a fairly frequent basis.

I guess what I am looking for is like a forced "track changes" feature (that can't be turned off), so when they send the file back to me, I can very quickly tell if they changed any formulas/hard coded numbers (so I don't have to click on every cell and verify that they haven't changed something on the sly).

Thanks everybody!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
The solution I use is, after the original file is sent out and received with the changes, a macro runs that compares the original file, to the new file, and lists any differences. Another technique I use is having a macro initially save the values in the file, in hidden columns, and then use conditional formatting and/or data validation to isolate any changes.
