Hi, I'm Rios, I'm new here.

I created a function VBA and I saved the file in the format XLA. When I try to use the function, I see that the function appears as " file.xla!modulef.calcfun ". How do I do so that the function appears how all the existent ones? (ex. calcfun)

Hi, Rios- it sounds like you haven't actually installed your function as an add-in yet. To do this, click on Tools-Add-Ins and Browse to the location of your add-in and install it. Your function should now be available to all Excel workbooks on your computer under the right name.

This was made. Then, when access the function saw " fx " (past-function) the name of the function doesn't come clean, but preceded of the file and module.

If you have actually installed it as an add-in and aren't just running it side by side with a worksheet, you shouldn't get this, so I'm afraid I don't have an explanation why.

Click on Tools- Add-Ins and look down the list to check your add-in hasn't been unchecked by mistake, is the only thing I can think of.
