Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
In K14 enter
=COUNTIFS(Sheet1!$F$4:$F$659,">="&$K$9,Sheet1!$F$4:$F$659,"<="&$B$15)

In K15 enter
=K14+SUMPRODUCT((TEXT(Sheet1!$F$4:$F$659,"mmyy")=TEXT(B15,"mmyy"))*(Sheet1!$F$4:$F$35>=$K$9)*(Sheet1!$F$4:$F$35<=$K$12))

Need a minor adjustment...

=COUNTIFS(Sheet1!$F$4:$F$578,">="&AW$9,Sheet1!$F$4:$F$578,"<="&AW$12)

Doesn't quite work to copy & fill down if the min & max dates fall within 01-Jul-14 to 30-Jun-15. It simply counts every occurrence between these dates then adds the accumulations to this 1st number ?

The less than part should reference the cell with the 1st July.

I might need to post another example...

The will be multiple columns with min & max dates. For example 10-Oct-13 to 16-Mar-13 / 21-Jan-13 to 16-Mar-13

Problem is that part of the formula as counting everything prior to 01-Jul-14 & the min date. However it still needs to be between the min & max dates ?

I don't understand, if the start/end dates are 10-Oct-13 to 16-Mar-13, then none will fall in the period Jul-14 to Jun-15.

I need the flexibility to search for occurrences between those min & max dates prior to 01-Jul-14... however only start the cumulative part of the equation once Jul-14 begins. So in the above example 10-Oct-13 to 16-Mar-13 will remain the same throughout the year as there can be no more additions beyond 16-Mar-13
