Hi everyone,

I am trying to analyse large amounts of ticketing data using Excel 2010. For each quarter, I need to separate about 120,000 rows of data into the following groups (and then save them to a new worksheet):

Adult only
Senior Only
Adults & Seniors
Adults & Concessions
Concession only

<tbody>
</tbody>
Adult and child only
Adult, senior and child
Senior and child
Adult, concession and child

<tbody>
</tbody>

To do this, I am filtering by the 'Ticket Name' column. However, because we have about 85 different ticket types, and infinite combinations of these tickets in any given transaction, it is very laborious to manually go through and tick all the adults, then all adults and concessions, etc. for each quarter. My eyes are starting to melt, so there must be a more efficient way!:eek:

For instance, to find "Adults and Concession" transactions, I would need to manually find and click on the following ticket types in an enormous list (and this is only a selection, not all of them, sadly):

Adult,Student
1516 WGAdult,1516 WGStudent
Classic Wing Ad Conc,Classic Wings Adult
Classic Wings Adult,Classic Wing Ad Conc
Classic Wings Adult,GClassic Wing AdConc
Free Carer,Disabled Adult,Adult
Corp Ad J Lewis,GClassic Wing AdConc
Disabled Adult,Free Carer,Adult
GAdult,GUB40
GAdult,GStudent
Dis Ad Annual Pass,Adult Annual Pass
Free Carer,GAdult,GDisabled Senior
Adult Annual Pass,Student Annual Pass
Misc Adult Free,Free Carer
Student Annual Pass,Dis Stu Annual Pass,Adult Annual Pass

<tbody>
</tbody>
I cannot use 'Custom View' to save my 'Adults and Concession' filter because it only applies to the worksheet I am currently working on (Q1 2015). I am looking for a way to preset my filters so that I can quickly look for certain ticket combinations when I'm working on different sheets, as I need to analyse the same breakdown for each financial quarter back to 2013.

Is there a way to do this using advanced filters?

Many thanks in advance,

M
